If Natalie is elected she will be one of nine people on the County Council which is the legislative body of the county.<h2>What Does the County Council Do?</h2>The Salt Lake County Council is the legislative body of the county government. You can think of it like Congress, the state legislature, or your local city council. The Salt Lake County Council is made up of nine members, 6 who are elected to represent districts and 3 who are elected to represent the whole county.
